The ODCE is seeking the provision of forensic accounting services, including IT forensic technology services, in relation to a specific investigation. The following is a broad synopsis of the key tasks Examine the computer systems of two companies in such locations as are agreed Analyse and report on the applications running on them Examine and report on the systems and data flows between the two companies Provide a schedule of invoices submitted from one company to another for an eight month period Provide a breakdown of payments made on foot of said invoices Provide originating data in such a form as to be used potentially for evidential purposes Provide information as to the date and time that invoices were submitted, and an analysis of who submitted them with supporting evidence Assist in the interview of IT personnel Provide an oral followed by a written report Potential attendance at court Other support roles in furtherance of the case The work is being carried out in the context of a criminal investigation and as such the highest levels of protection for the chain of evidence will be necessary. In addition, should a case be proceeded with it the provision of the data for discovery purposes for the defence may be assumed.
