Detailed description:

The Belvilla Community Nursing Unit is an existing community unit for older persons operated by the HSE (approx 2000sqm). The current re-configuration project is to ensure the CNU meets HIQA Nursing Home standards 2014 by 2016. The proposed works include a reconfiguration of the existing layout of the unit, comprising of the upgrading of both communal and ward facilities for residents, and the conversion of existing 4-bed rooms into 2-bed rooms. Plus new ground floor extensions providing additional bedrooms, communal areas and associated landscaping.
