Transportation190914 - Invitation for the provisions of a Fleet Tracking and Information System

Meath County Council and Wicklow County Council wish to procure a Fleet Tracking System & Information System to facilitate the management of its combined vehicle fleet. The two Local Authorities have agreed that Meath County Council will procure the contract. Meath County Council and Wicklow County Council will solely be responsible for the administration of the system in their respective local authority areas and for payment should the contract be awarded. Quotations are being sought for 3 separate lots, lot 1 for Meath County Councils fleet (38 vehicles), lot 2 for Wicklow County Councils fleet (110 vehicles) and lot 3 the combined fleet of Meath and Wicklow County Councils (148 vehicles). The Client should it decide to award the contract reserves the right to award the contract for 1 lot only or 2 lots for each of the respective local authority areas or for the combined fleet of Meath and Wicklow County Council. The System is required to capture and record all vehicle management information and provide extensive reporting (real-time and historic) on same. This service shall be provided for a term of three years (36 months).
