14.007 - Office Block, Cork, Air Conditioning Upgrade Works and associated electrical and buildersworks

This contract is for the deinstallation of the existing fan coil units followed by supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new units. All associated ancillary works to allow for these works shall be included. The Mechanical works Contractor shall act as the Main Contractor and shall act as PSCS. The works are to be carried out on a phased basis in an existing occupied office building. The building will, in general, be occupied for the duration of the works during normal working hours. The Contractor shall be given possession of areas that suit the functional requirements of the occupants in line with the programme.The building comprises 4 floors and consists of an area of approx 7,600 sqm.The extent of works are as follows:Strip out of existing air conditioning fan coil units, grilles, ductwork and pipework and replace with new.All ancillary works such as ceiling replacement, associated builders attendances and electrical works shall form part of the works.
