NCTR 1405 - Request for Tenders (RFT) for the Provision of an Application Delivery Controller Solution

DIT is seeking an Application Delivery Controller (ADC) solution and implementation partner to service their needs for the next 3-5 years. The Web Application Firewall (WAF) element must be able to provide the capability to detect and block sophisticated network attacks as well as to enforce a granular security policy at the application level. The drivers for the deployment of this technology include: • an anticipate increase in traffic and attacks due to the upgrade of our internet connection (and possibly other links) from 1Gbs to 10Gbs • increasing security risks to our public web based applications • the contract for support for the current solution is nearing an end
