715 - Provision of a Caretaking Service on Residential Caravan Parks and Group Housing Schemes

South Dublin County Council currently provides an extensive residential and mobile caretaking service throughout its administrative area. There are a number of Residential Caravan Parks and Group Housing Schemes throughout the County which will require a daily caretaking service between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Caretakers will report directly to the Traveller Accommodation Unit, South Dublin County Council. Experience working with members of the Travelling Community is not essential but it will be taken into consideration when the contract is awarded. The Contract duration is for a 12 month period and will be subject to 6 monthly reviews. At South Dublin County Council’s discretion the Contract may be extended for a further two periods of one or two years, with agreement with the successful Tenderer to a maximum of three years in total. The successful Tenderer will be required to appoint caretakers to supervise Residential Caravan Parks and Group Housing Schemes at various locations.
