Classrooms and offices together with ancillary accommodation and associated site works at St. Oliver’s Community College, Rathmullen Road, Co. Louth. Roll Number 71761C.

You are cordially invited to submit a comprehensive tender proposal for the above in accordance with the following documentation on E-mail, namely:

Each Tenderer will be required to submit a “Fixed Price” Tender Sum (i.e. “fixed” in terms of future inflation costs) and this submission must indicate clearly the proposed time for completion of the works (please refer to the enclosed Form of Tender).
Also, please note the following in relation to the Tender Procedure:-
(1) Any queries during the Quotation Period should be raised with Mr. Paul Connolly at this office.
(2) A Site Visit may be organised by prior arrangement with the School Principal, Mr John Halpin, contactable on 041 9838515.
(3) The Client reserves the right to accept any quotation from those submitted or to refuse all.
(4) The completed and signed Form of Tender should be returned in a sealed envelope clearly marked ‘Form of Tender for St. Oliver’s Community College – Single Storey
Extension.
(5) Constructions of a single storied extension & alterations to existing school building must be delivered, installed & fit for use on site for 27th March 2015. (To be agreed)
Tendering Contractors are to ensure the following:
1. The Tender Return Price as recorded is a Fixed Price Lump Sum Amount.
2. All services to and from the proposed Accommodation have been allowed for within the tender return, including all connections to existing services including Water, ESB &
Eircom in accordance with Technical Guidance Document 001, and all attached documentation.
3. Connections to the existing Foul Sewer have been allowed for within the Tender Return.
4. Connections to the Surface Water System have been allowed for within the Tender Return.
5. The proposed Structures will be fit for purpose.
6. The Main Contractor has visited the site and has satisfied himself that all elements including service runs have been accounted for within the Tender Price.
7. All underground trenches, foundations, rising walls and slabs, steps, ramps and paving have been allowed for in the fixed price.
8. The Main Contractor has allowed for the making good of all surfaces on completion
Tenders are to be returned in a sealed envelope to Louth and Meath Education and Training Board, Abbey Road, Navan, Co Meath no later than 2.00 pm Thursday 03rd of July 2014. Tenders received by any other means will be deemed invalid, and will be returned unopened.
