SWS 2014 - Mechanical Upgrade Works

It is proposed to decommission the existing heating centre and associated space heating installation throughout the School Building and replace with new systems in compliance with current standards. The approximate area of the building is 1400m². The scope of the works will be as follows: • Decommissioning, stripping out and removal from site of the existing heating centre (boiler, pumps, controls, plant room pipework, etc.) in the existing boilerhouse and the existing radiator circuits, radiators and all associated pipework for the heating services throughout the existing school building. • Supply and installation of new heating centre (boilers, gas pipework, pumps, controls, plant room pipework, etc.) in the boilerhouse. • Supply and installation of new radiators, radiator circuits and all associated pipework for the new heating services supply throughout the existing building. • Supply and installation of new upgraded central control system to control new heating installation and zoning, complete with various field devices. • Supply and installation of a new LPG gas supply from a new LPG gas tank to the existing boilerhouse to serve the new heating centre. • All builders work associated with the installation. • All electrical works associated with the installation. • All other items as indicated in drawings and detailed in specifications.
