Re: Invitation to Tender for Mobile Computer Devices

CMETB is seeking quotes for mobile computer devices which can be used by students and teachers. eBooks and other standard software may be required to be accessed using these devices. The devices will be used for classroom based course work and project work.
Under this tender, quotes are requested for the following lots for devices;

Any contract that may result from this public procurement competition will be issued for each LOT for a term of 2 years (“the Term”) subject to a yearly performance review.
The Contracting Authority reserves the right to extend the Term for a period or periods of up to 24 months with a maximum of two such extensions on the same terms and conditions, subject to the Contracting Authority’s obligations at law.
The information provided herein is offered in good faith for the guidance of vendors, but no warranty or representation is given as to the accuracy or completeness of any of it and CMETB shall not be under any liability for any error, misstatement or omission.
No commitment of any kind, contractual or otherwise shall exist unless and until a formal written contract has been executed by or on behalf of the Contracting Authority. Any notification of preferred bidder status by the Contracting Authority shall not give rise to any enforceable rights by the Tenderer. The Contracting Authority may cancel this public procurement competition at any time prior to a formal written contract being executed by or on behalf of the Contracting Authority. The Contracting Authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest priced or any Tender.
CMETB reserves the right to award contracts to more than one supplier on foot of this competition.
Two hard copies and one digital copy of the quote are to be returned in a sealed envelope; clearly labeled “Invitation to Tender for Mobile Computer Devices” and sent to:

Responses must arrive to the above address not later than 6th June 2014, by 12 Noon
Note that CMETB is prohibited by public procurement guidelines from accepting proposals after the closing date and time of the tender.
