Access 6 Mentoring Lite - Mentoring services for Access 6 Food and Drink Programme

Access 6 is an EU funded programme led by the Irish Exporters Association, Northern Ireland Food & Drink and Scotland Food & Drink. It is funded by the ERDF under INTERREG IVA for regional development in the border counties of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Western Scotland. The Programme will provide extensive training and mentoring to Food and Drink SMEs in these border regions and develop new routes to market. SMEs will be provided with professional marketing assistance and logistical support to successfully supply to Benelux, France, Germany, Scandinavia, UK & US. Key objectives of the programme: Find new routes to market for SMEs: this will be achieved by targeting certain channel operators and involving them as channel partners to potentially result in listings for the SMEs on the programme. Establish one to one mentorship: as part of the programme we will appoint mentors to support the Food & Drink SMEs in a wide range of training & development activity over a 12 month period. Deliver innovative training modules: these will be available to SMEs in online and traditional formats and will cover areas such as sales, marketing and new product development. Increase competitive advantage: by exchanging knowledge and shared learnings. Establish an effective logistics framework: for ease of access to new markets and allow for economies of scale.
