April 2014 UPDATE to PIN for Delivery of Irish Infrastructure Stimulus Package. Queries to info@ndfa.ie

This PIN provides an update to a previous PIN issued on 16th September 2013 (eTenders ref 78733). The Government's €2¼ billion Infrastructure Stimulus Package package involves raising €1.4 billion for investment in public infrastructure projects in Ireland. The €1.4 billion private investment is to be directed towards projects that meet key infrastructural needs and are in line with the priorities identified in the Government’s Investment Framework. The initiative is designed to stimulate economic growth and create employment. Projects have been identified in the Education, Health, Justice and Transport sectors. The projects will be delivered by way of Public Private Partnership (“PPP”). This PIN provides an update to the status of the delivery of PPP projects within the Infrastructure Stimulus Package as first announced in a prior PIN issued on 13 February 2013 (eTenders reference 72302). It follows the publication by the National Development Finance Agency on 8 April 2014 of a Prior Information Notice in respect of the Courts PPP Contract Bundle eTenders reference 80008.
