INPC - INVITATION TO TENDER STRUCTURAL INSPECTION & PROPOSALS FOR FUTURE RISK MANAGEMENT OF THE BANTRY JETTY,CO. CORK

IRISH NATIONAL PETROLEUM CORPORATION proposes to engage an Engineering Practice to carry out a survey of the Whiddy Island Jetty referred to as “Bantry Jetty”, Co. Cork for the purpose of evaluating the condition of the jetty, identifying all health and safety risks, including structural and environmental risk. It is envisaged that the survey will require dive inspections and a report identifying the risks and recommendation in minimising (removing) all risks. It is expected that upon completion of the assessment, that the Engineer produce a comprehensive report which should include inter alia the following: a) Identify all associated risks (including to human and environmental risks); b) Provide a scope of works required to remove/minimise each identified risk, together with a time base recommendation for the necessary programme of works; c) Recommendation for the management and procuring of the identified works; and d) Include a budget cost for the schedule of works involved in removing/minimising the risks each element of risk to be costed separately (to include the engineer costs which would be required in order to procure the identified works).
