Coillte - Log Bucking Simulation Solution for Coillte

The RFT has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

 

A Log Bucking Simulation Solution is required to provide Coillte forest planners and managers with pre-harvest estimates of potential log product yields from planned harvest units.  The solution will be used to generate a range of different potential log product yields (bucking options) for each harvest unit analysed.  Log products will be defined by length, small-end diameter (SED) and quality attributes.  The Remsoft SOP Model will then analyse the range of log bucking options for all scheduled harvest units to generate an optimised Log Sales & Production Schedule based on a number of supply objectives and constraints.
