Provision of Commercially Published Information/Market Intelligence Databases
The Business Intelligence Unit of IDA Ireland is proposing to tender for the supply of online business information/market intelligence databases. The role of the Business Intelligence Unit is to provide IDA staff with the market intelligence needed to win new business, support the needs of existing clients and clearly communicate the importance of the FDI sector to external stakeholders. IDA Ireland staff are currently located in 8 Irish offices, and in 19 global offices: 7 in the Americas, 4 in Europe, and 8 in Asia Pacific. This procurement is broken into a series of 6 Lots: LOT 1 Access to an online database of Global FDI Flows, LOT 2 Access to market intelligence for Technology and Technology Enabled Services, LOT 3 Access to market intelligence for Engineering/Industrial and Clean Technology Sector, LOT 4 Access to market intelligence for Life Sciences Sector, LOT 5 Access to market intelligence for Financial Services Sector, LOT 6 Access to an online database of Public and Private Companies across various sectors. The commencement date for each Lot will vary; see individual Lot documents for details. Tenders may be submitted for one or more Lots.

Access to a comprehensive database of global FDI projects and leads on mobile investment by individual companies. The database must be accessible on an online basis and provide time series information on FDI investments globally.

The successful tenderer is required to supply global market intelligence for the Life Sciences sector. Items of interest include: strategic analysis of the industry (SWOT), sector trends, key players, product segments and product innovations, market share, forecasts by region and product and analysis of companies in the sector
The successful tenderer is required to supply global market intelligence for the Financial Services sector. Items of interest include: strategic analysis of the industry (SWOT), sector trends, key players, product segments and product innovations, market share, forecasts by region and product and analysis of companies in the sector.
The successful tenderer will be required to provide access to a searchable database of public and private companies on a global basis for Life Sciences, Technology & Tehcnology Enables Services, Engineering & Clean Technology and Financial Services.
