DLHC210214 - Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin Ireland – Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company - Proposed Cruise Facility - Site Investigation Contract (Marine)

Detailed Description The investigation contract has been devised to help define the engineering properties and condition of the seabed deposits and underlying soil/ rock strata within the general area of a proposed new deep water vessel berthing facility, which will cater for piled quay wall structures, piled mooring and berthing dolphins, earth retaining structures (piled and ground bearing), a dredged berthing pocket in the Inner Harbour, dredging seaward in the Outer Harbour along the general line of an associated vessel navigation approach channel, all within the Harbour Limits line. All the investigations will be situated in and around open tidal water accessible by boat only, and within the constraints of live vessel traffic using the Harbour. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labour and materials necessary to carry out the site investigation. The investigations will require significant marine plant from which to safely carry out the investigations.
