The scheme involves remedial works to the following 8 national road bridges in County Longford; LD-N04-002.00 Scry Bridge, LD-N04-005.00 Kilnasavogue Bridge, LD-N55- 002.00 Ballymahon Bridge, LD-N55-003.00 Sand Bridge, LD-N55-005.00 Fowlards Bridge, LD-N55-007.00 Ballyglasson Bridge, LD-N55-010.60 Cartron Culvert, LD- N55-010.30 Ardaguillion Culvert. The Bridge remedial works is likely to involve the undertaking of the following works: Masonry repairs using traditional methods; NRA approved highway bridge parapets and safety barrier installation/replacement; Strengthening/Replacement of bridge structures and associated remedial works; Scour Repair Works to bridge structures; Demolition of bridge structures; Working on concurrent bridge sites; Working with third parties requirements such as Inland Fisheries Ireland and National Parks and Wildlife Services; Traffic management planning and operation
