Request for Information on ePayment Solutions for welfare clients
This Request for Information is linked to the following PINs previously published – ID No. 70922 and ID No. 76479. The Department of Social Protection is proposing to procure an electronic payment solution to supplement existing direct payments into client accounts (EFT) and as a replacement for existing cash payments. In advance of this procurement, the Department now intends to conduct a 'Request for Information' (RFI) process. This RFI will not form part of any public procurement process which may follow. However, information received on foot of this RFI process may inform the specification of relevant services in any subsequent procurement competition. Decisions made on foot of examination of RFI responses may give rise to a subsequent procurement exercise, or may conclude that one is not required.
