BE/SV/09/01/2014 - Waste management services for general dry waste and food waste

The successful tenderer will be required to provide waste management services for Bus Eireann(BE) at specified locations nationwide. This will include but is not limited to the removal and responsible disposal of an assortment of "dry" waste streams and "food" waste from specified locations. The successful tenderer will also be required to provide appropriate waste receptacles at specified locations for proper segregation of collectable wastes. The contract term to be awarded to the successful tenderer shall be for a minimum of three (3) years with an option to extend same for a further one (1) or two (2) years. This option will be solely at the discretion of BE.The Contracting Authority reserves the right to allocate this contract in "lots" if it becomes expedient. Please note that this contract is being advertised under the "negotiated procedure" guideline. It is BE's intention to negotiate with selected tenderers. If a request to participate is submitted by a group of suppliers, then those suppliers, if awarded the contractshall assume such legal form by incorporation, partnership, or otherwise so as to enable them to contract as asingle entity. It will be necessary for the satisfactory performance of the contract for the group to state a singleaddressee responsible for the receipt and processing of the participating orders and resolving any problemsrelating to the contract. In order to be considered for participation in a tendering competition for this contract, suitably qualifiedinterested parties must complete and submit the pre-qualification questionnaire provided.Depending on the quality of pre-qualification details submitted, it is intended that following PQQ evaluation that at least five (5) entities will be invited to submit formal Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents.Following receipt of tenders, BE may negotiate as necessary with 1 or more tenderers and will awardthe contract tothe most economically advantageous offer received
