General information
Detailed description:

These services will be required in residential and commercial areas of South Dublin County and will include dual carriageways, main roads, housing estates roads and industrial estate roads within the Council’s area of administration. The sweeping and cleaning of housing estates shall occur at a frequency of four times per annum. The sweeping and cleaning of main roads shall occur at a frequency of twelve times per annum and shall take place on a monthly basis. The sweeping and cleaning of Industrial estates shall occur at a frequency of two times per annum. Dual carriageways roads shall be swept and cleared of litter on a quarterly basis. To be provided for a one year period commencing on 1 April 2014, with a possible extension on a year by year basis thereafter. The total duration of the contract including any extensions will not exceed 5 years.

South Dublin County Council, the Contracting Authority, invites expressions of interest from interested parties with relevant experience,for Road Sweeping & Associated Cleansing Services. The services to be procured through this competition will initially be for a one year period, with a possibility of extending the contract on a year by year basis after that at the sole discretion of the Council
