BTC-1-2013 - Civil Engineering design consultancy services.

The design of a new beach access to Tullan strand in Bundoran to include retaining structures, accomodation works and ancillary works. The access route is required primarily to provide pedestrian access to the beach but shall also be suitable to provide access to the beach for emergency vehicles. The route of the new access will initially follow the route of the existing access and then extend up the beach. The new route shall have a 1 in 12 gradient be approximately 190m long and will vary in width between 3 and 4 meters. The access will require retention for approximately 75m with retained heights up to approximately 7m. Whilst the works are above the mean high tide level some of the works may be within the tidal zone.
