The works consist of the resurfacing of the existing flat roof at the above involving cleaning and priming of the existing roof and supply and laying of a new underlay and waterproofing capping sheet along with all necessary lapping and dressing to upstands, rainwater outlets and rooflights and all associated preparation works. The contractor is to ensure that the new roof surface will have a 20 year guarantee.
The existing roof area equates to approximately 1435 square meters. The contract period will be from the start of February until the end of March 2014. The Contractor shall ensure that the tenders are priced as per the Outline Schedule of Works attached with the Tender Price submitted on the FTS6 Short Public Works Contract attached.
