ME5107MG - Overhaul of Radiator and Intercooler Cores from 071 Class Locomotives

The RFT has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

Irish Rail is seeking proposals from suitably qualified contractors for the overhaul and refurbishment of 30 Locomotive Radiators and 15 Locomotive Intercoolers.

This tender competition is being run under the Negotiated Procedure (OJEU) and both stages are being run simultaneously.

Tenderer's attention is drawn to the following important points:

  1. PQQ and tender documents are attached to this notice. The PQQ and Tender Submission MUST be returned on the same date AND the PQQ MUST be under separate cover.  Candidate who fail to follow this instruction correctly will be eliminated.  The tenders will NOT be opened until the PQQs have been evaluated. It is VITAL that the the PQQ and tender submissions are submitted separately but on the same deadline.
  2. Candidates must satisfy the conditions and requirements of the PQQ, Selection, stage in order to have their tenders evaluated.  The attachment of the tender documents to this notice should not be construed as automatic admission to the second, Award stage, of this tender competition.
  3. The deadline 09/12/2013 is for both PQQ and Tender Submission.
  4. The specification is contained in Appendix 1 of the Conditions of Tendering.
  5. The clarification deadline 02/12/2013 includes clarifications on the Contract; a draft version is attached as part of the tender documents.
  6. The following clauses of the the Contract for this tender are "Not Used"`: Clause 21 - Legal Opinion, and Clause 22 Bonds.
