Re: Invitation to Tender for the supply, delivery and commissioning of Furniture and Equipment at Carrigaline Community School, Waterpark, Carrigaline Middle, Co. Cork.

 

Dear Tenderer,

 

On behalf of our clients, The Board of Management of Carrigaline Community School, we invite you to tender for the above and in accordance with documents listed below which are accompanying this Request for Tender (RFT):

·       RFT.

·       Form of Tender.

·       Lot 1-13 Loose Furniture Specifications & Standards.

·       Lot 1-13 Loose Furniture Pricing Schedule.

·       Lot 14-28 Equipment List & Specification.

·       Drawing WD-800_T1 Loose Furniture Layout, 3-Storey Ground Floor.

·       Drawing WD-801_T1 Loose Furniture Layout, 3-Storey First Floor.

·       Drawing WD-802_T1 Loose Furniture Layout, 3-Storey Second Floor.

·       Drawing WD-803_T1 Loose Furniture Layout, 1-Storey, PE Hall & Existing.

 

The areas of building relevant to this tender are new 3-storey and 1-storey extensions to the existing school, a new PE Hall and a new Dressmaking room within the existing school all of which are currently under construction and due for handover to the school in March 2014. Listed below are key dates to note:

·       Latest Date for Queries: Monday 2nd December 2013 at 5.00pm.

·       Tender Return Deadline: Monday 9th December 2013 at 12.00pm.

·       Installation & Completion by: March 2014.

 

Note section 2.6 of the RFT: “Tenders delivered by hand or by post must be delivered in sealed package(s). The package must be marked with the RFT Title - Lot [Insert as applicable] and the word “Confidential”. Tenderers must clearly set out a return address on the Tender package. Tenderers should note that if you are tendering for more than one lot each Lot should be submitted under separate cover.”

 

Note Section 2.16.1 on the RFT: “Tenderers should be aware that, under the Freedom of Information Acts 1997 and 2003, information provided by them during this public procurement competition may be liable to be disclosed.”

 

Note section 3.2.A of the RFT, all tenderers must have the ability to provide an Up-to-date Tax Clearance Certificate if requested by the Contracting Authority.

 

Please ensure you have returned all the required documentation prior to the tender return deadline stated above:

·       Completed and signed Form of Tender (for each lot).

·       Completed Pricing Schedule(s) & Equipment Lists and Specifications as outlined in the RFT Appendix 2 (for each lot).

·       Completed and signed Tenderer’s Statement in the RFT Appendix 3.

·       Completed and signed Declaration as to Personal Circumstances of Tenderer in the RFT Appendix 5.

·       Provide 3no. references to demonstrate Tenderers have suitable technical and professional ability to supply, deliver and commission the furniture in the relevant lot as outlined in the RFT Appendix 1: Requirements and Specifications.
