ME 4997 - Overhaul of Suspension Dampers & Braking Actuators

Iarnród Éireann will be seeking tenders for the overhaul of suspension dampers and brake actuators of it's Rail fleet. The successful Tenderer will be required to provide a comprehensive warranty and warranty support as agreed by contract. Sucessful tenderer/s will be required to provide fit for purpose transportation boxes . The supplier must accept on call collections of small quantities of dampers and actuators (minimum eight dampers/actuators). Dampers and actuators are safety critical components and as such the supplier is required to comply with CME-SMS-009, ‘Approval for Supplier of Safety Critical Equipment’. Printed copies of conformance certificates are to be supplied with each delivery of Actuators and Dampers. Economic Operators submitting a Pre Qualification Questuionnaire (PQQ) will be assessed against the selection crirteria listed in the PQQ and thereafter Candidates who are short listed will be invited to tender will be invited to tender for the overhaul of either Dampers and / or Actuators or sub sets of the complete list of components. IE proposes to enter into a three (3) year contract with the tenderer who submits the most economical advantageous tender. Full details of specifications and drawing will be only issued to those candidates short listed and invited to tender Economic Operators wishing to particpate in this competition must go to http://www.etenders.gov.ie to note their interest and thereafter download the Pre Qualification Questionnaire in accordance to the instructions contained within the document. Registeration to Etenders website is free and information sought in the PQQ should be returned in accordance with the instructions contained therein. No information should be uploaded onto the Etender.gov.ie website
