Packaging Solution for Biological Material

the supply of up to a maximum of 25,000 units of packaging comprising of primary packaging, secondary packaging, absorbent (capable of absorbing up to 600ml liquid), and outer packaging suitable for the storage and transport of badger carcasses assigned to UN No. 3373 Biological Substances, Category B and conforming to the Packaging Instruction P650 specification for liquids. The packaging must be capable of holding a weight of up to 15Kg. The base of the outer packaging must be designed so that it can accommodate the weight of the badger which can be as heavy as 20Kg The Units supplied must meet the requirements as set down by DAFM at Appendix 1. The contract will be on a drawdown basis as required by the Contracting Authority and for delivery to the DAFM Stores in Sandyford in Dublin. The successful tenderer will be responsible for all transportation and delivery costs.
