Novation of M & E Installations - Mechanical & Electrical Installations for New Beaufort Maritime & Energy Research Building.

UCC hereby issues this information in accordance with the requirements of EC directive 2004/18/EEC (open procedure) to appoint Individual Lots for Mechanical & Electrical Specialists for the project. Each Individual Lot will be evaluated separately. The successful applicants for each lot will enter a contract with the employer and will subsequently be Novated to the Main Contractor under clause 5.4 of the Public Works Contract for Building Works designed by the Employer PW-CF1 using the CWMF Model Form 1.9 Novation Agreement. The works will consist of the development of the new Beaufort Maritime & Energy Research Building having a total floor area of circa 5,372m2, construction of access road and ancillary site development works, located on a site adjacent the National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI) at Ringaskiddy, Co Cork. Full details of the Mechanical and Electrical Installations are included in the works requirements attached to the overall package. The candidate’s submission will be in two parts as detailed in the attached documents. The contract is the Public Works Contract for Building Works designed by the Employer PW-CF1 latest revision.
