 Total quantity or scope (including all lots and options, if applicable)

The service requirements to be provided are those engineering services required by the Contracting Authority in connection with the provision of two new bridges, and the demolition of an existing bridge in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford.

The scope of the work may include some or all of the following as well as other related services:

•Taking possession of and assimilating all documentation produced to-date in relation to the Enniscorthy Flood Relief Scheme;

Reviewing existing prelimianry design reports and outline bridge types;

•Preparation of detailed design, contract documents and contract supervision for all works involved in the demolition of the existing bridge and the construction of the new road and pedestrian bridges, including any ancillary works;

•Determining the requirements of Iarnrod Eireann and completing terms of the bridge agreement.

•Determining requirements of statutory and non statutory undertakers and service providers;

•Provision of assistance to the Client in the design of accommodation works ;

•Procurement and supervision of ground investigation contracts;

•Procurement and supervision of topographical survey contracts;

•Procurement and supervision of all specialist sub-contractors;

•Acting as the Project Supervisor Design Process as required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006;

·        Provide cost estimates

•And other duties considered appropriate to the brief.
