ETB-1212-12 - Heavy Fuel Oil Storage Tank Cleaning
Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified contracting companies for the task of emptying and cleaning three heavy fuel oil storage tanks at their facility located at Tarbert Co. Kerry, Ireland. The tanks, vertical cylindrical type, are each 49m diameter by 15m height in close proximity to each other. The tanks currently hold, 0.8m, 1.3m and 4.8m of fuel which it is required to remove by transfer into a fourth tank at the same site. Following removal of the fuel the tanks are to be cleaned to a standard which would enable a follow-up tank inspection company to work. The successful contractor will be required to provide a steam heating boiler, pumps, pipework, all men and materials as required to undertake tank cleaning operations. Health and Safety together with Environmental control are of prime importance during these works.
