Mail delivery to all UK destinations
Dear Service Provider,
An Post is seeking a supplier to provide a service to accept parcel/courier mail from An Post five (5) days per week Monday to Friday for next day delivery to all UK destinations.
Registration on Supply-Line is a requirement for this contract. Registration may be achieved in the following way:
(a) Payment of the appropriate registration fee to join Supply-Line level 3 by Friday 21st December 2012 at 12:00 noon; service providers already registered on Supply-Line level 3 need not reapply at this time, but may wish to review and amend their registration for the appropriate product codes;
(b) Completion of the Supply-Line qualification questionnaire online via www.achilles.com, including a formal declaration of the applicants bona fides – it is a requirement for suppliers to update their information annually and to ensure that key documentation is also kept up-to-date;
(c) Enter product code 3.74.6 – Transportation Services and glossary “Mail Transport” under your company profile; suppliers should be fully registered under correct level and product code by Monday 7th January 2013 at 12:00 noon.
Depending on the number of interested suppliers, An Post may decide to run a second stage qualification process to determine a final supplier listing suitable to receive the tenders. Registering with Achilles does not guarantee that you will be brought forward to the tender stage. An Post may issue second-stage qualification questions about specific contracts through the e-Qual tool within Supply-Line. To this end, suppliers are reminded to carefully monitor e-mail alerts from both Supply-Line and/or the Purchasing Organisation.
