Landscape & Grass Maintenance - The Tender involves two individual contracts advertised in one Tender and priced separately; the ’Landscape Maintenance Contract ‘and the ‘Grass Maintenance Contract'

Tenders are invited from competent Landscape Contract Service Providers for the Landscape Maintenance and Grass Maintenance of Various Sites and Open Spaces in 6 Lots ( here by termed ‘ Contract Area ‘) in Dublin City Council’s administrative area from the 1st March 2013 to 28th February 2016. The Tender involves two individual contracts advertised in one Tender and priced separately; the ’Landscape Maintenance Contract ‘and the ‘Grass Maintenance Contract'. Landscape Maintenance Contract The Landscape Maintenance Contract involves the maintenance of residential grounds /lands (Flat / Apartment complexes and Residential Estates) currently under the charge of Dublin City Council in Contract Areas numbering One to Five and Civic Buildings, Cemeteries and Motorway Planting currently under the charge of Dublin City Council in Contract Area 6. Typical Maintenance operations are Litter removal, Grass cutting; Weed control, Tree maintenance, Pruning (shrubs), Hedge maintenance and Hard stand maintenance. (see Preliminary and General Instructions Sections 1 to 1.15) Grass Maintenance Contract The Grass Maintenance Contract involves the maintenance of roadside grass verges and incidental open spaces currently under the charge of Dublin City Council in Contract Area’s numbering One to Five. Typical Maintenance operations are Litter removal, Grass cutting; Weed control. (see Preliminary and General Instructions Sections 1 to 1.15)' Lots 1 & 6 were awarded to Peter O'Brien and Sons (Landsacaping) Ltd, Streamstown, Malahide, Co. Dublin. Lotts 2, 3, 4 & 5 were awarded to Redlough Landscapes Ltd, Belgree, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15. All contracts run from 15th April 2013 until 17th April 2014. Submissions were received from 9 applicants in relation to this tender.
