Dear Service Provider,
Nazareth House Management Ltd. invites expressions of interest for two lots for the provision of catering services at its premises in Sligo, Ireland.
You are invited to consult the associated questionnaire, which contains full instructions regarding the completion and submission of expressions of interest.
Economic operators are advised that this contract comprises two lots:
1) Catering Services at Nazareth House;
2) Concession for In-house Café.
Please note the following additional information:
1) Award of any contract will be subject to the approval of the competent authorities and availability of funding.
2) The contracting authority will not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by participants.
3) This notice is strictly voluntary and the awarding authority is not subject to the provisions of Directive 2004/18 relating to the choice of publicity, procedures, timelines, selection or award criteria.
4) It will be a condition for the award of any contract that a binding service level agreement is signed by the successful tenderer(s).
5) The contracting authority reserves the right to review the quality of service provision on an on-going basis and to terminate any contract at its discretion.
6) The decision as to the renewal of contract will at every stage be at the sole discretion of the contracting authority
7) Any increase or decrease of service fees annually will be subject to the application of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) published by the Government of Ireland.
8) The services in Lot 1 are classed as non-priority services and therefore not subject to the Directive.
9) The concession services in Lot 2 fall outside the coverage of the Directive.
10) The Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) rules will apply and the successful tenderers will be required to indemnify the contracting authority against all claims associated with the TUPE rules as applied in Ireland.
11) Please note that the contracting authority reserves the right to successively reduce the numbers of operators invited to negotiation through application of the award criteria.
12) Please note the tender process is being managed by Achilles Procurement Services Ltd on behalf of Nazareth House Management Ltd.
13) Initial contract for 3 years, with possible annual renewals up to a maximum of 7 years in all (both lot 1 and lot 2).
14) For the avoidance of doubt it is emphasised that this notice refers to the award of a contract and not the establishment of framework agreements.
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE USING THE ACCELERATED NEGOTIATED PROCEDURE AND THE CLOSING DATE IS NOT 30 DAYS, BUT IS SET AT 12 NOON ON FRIDAY 14TH DECEMBER 2012.
