Dear Tenderer,
Carlow County Council (CCC) is seeking a quotation from qualified Landscape Architect consultants to carry out Consultancy Services for Tullow Town Park. We would be grateful if you could provide a quotation to carry out a Landscape design of the above site.
The information required is for the public park, and the information supplied, other than the above, should be sufficient to facilitate that objective. Please see the enclosed tender documents and drawing of the proposed site describing the development.

Please note, the completed Quotation Response & Form of Tender should be sent electronically to sudhir@carlowcoco.ie marked for the attention of the Executive Architect, Housing Department, Carlow County Council. Responses received after the due date/time will NOT come under consideration.
The report should be provided in digital format on USB/CD and suitable for MS Office use. All text should be in Ariel font or other simplex fonts. Complex fonts should not be used.
Your quotation will require that the services commence within the first week of notification to the successful consultant to proceed. Before the appointment, the Council will require a health and safety statement and evidence that Public Liability Insurance, Employers Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance are in place.
We intend to appoint the consultant soon and to have the services commencing immediately.
CCC will appoint the lowest tender to the services project depending on the cost of the services. This offer will remain open for acceptance by you for a period of 18-months from the closing date for receipt of quotations.
CCC may appoint the preferred tender to carry out additional checks at rates pro-rata to the tender submitted. These rates form part of the overall tender. Carlow County Council may commission all or part of the services.
Carlow County Council is the owner of the site. Carlow County Council will take the full lead as a client and will discharge all reasonable fees and contract costs.
The project is tendered as a fixed-price project, as per the Form of Tender. A daily rate for site attendance by a Senior and an Assistant is to be provided in the Form of a Tender. The tender will be awarded based on cost – the lowest tender. Stage percentages may be adjusted on request if deemed reasonable and balanced with the work output.
Tenders should note that the project above will be subject to funding and will be at the sole discretion of CCC.
Please note: no commitment of any kind, contractual or otherwise shall exist unless and until a formal written contract has been executed by or on behalf of the Contracting Authority. Carlow County Council does not bind itself to accept the lowest quotation.
