Re:                              Invitation to Tender for Construction Works (Open Procedure)

 

For:                             Two-storey extension, alterations to the existing school to provide SEN unit and all associated site works at Gaelscoil Bhaile Brigín, Castleland, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin

The Employer invites you to tender for construction works for the above, as detailed below.

Form of Contract

The Form of Contract will be:

PW-CF5 Public Works Contract for Minor Building & Civil Engineering Works Designed by the Employer

Tender Returns

The latest time and date for return of Tenders is:      17:00hrs, 30^th January 2023

Tender submissions must be sent (by Hand or by Registered Post) to arrive at the above address not later than the latest time and date stated above.  Email and Fax submissions are not permitted.  Tenders sent to any other address will be deemed to be invalid tenders. Unsigned or incorrectly signed Forms of Tender will likewise be deemed to be invalid tenders.

All tenders returned must include the following: Completed Form of Tender & Schedule Volume B                                                         

                                                                           Completed Pricing Documents Volume C1, C2 & C3

                                                                           Signed Suitability Assessment Questionnaire

Tenders must be in the format prescribed in the Instruction to Tenderers.

Return envelopes must be clearly marked with the name of the Tenderer, the name of the Contract, and the content for example "Tender of ABC Limited for XYZ...Project – Form of Tender”.

Queries

Queries must be submitted through the e-tender messaging facility. All queries must be submitted as soon as possible and in any event not later than 8 working days before latest time for receipt of Tender although the Employer may at its discretion respond to queries raised after that date.  If the Employer responds to a query, it will send the response to each Tenderer, unless the Tenderer asking the query has clearly designated the query as confidential and the Employer agrees that it should be treated as confidential.

The basis of assessment of the Tenders is detailed in the Instructions to Tenderers document.

Site Visit Details

Tenderers must phone the School Principal Clodagh Ní Mhaoilchiaráin on 01-8416036 and make an appointment for a site visit.
