Financial Audit Services - Financial Auditing Services for 2022 - 2024

SECAD Partnership CLG wishes to invite tenders from suitably qualified and competent registered auditors, with a high level of knowledge and understanding of the community and voluntary sector, to provide financial auditing services for the next three financial years, 2022 – 2024 inclusive. SECAD Partnership CLG is a Local Development Company (LDC) based in Cork. SECAD has successfully delivered rural development and social inclusion programmes and other initiatives since 1995, on behalf of the European Union, the Irish Government and other funders. As a Local Development Company, SECAD works with a range of different clients and stakeholders in rural areas including community and voluntary groups, disadvantaged target groups, job seekers, businesses (including private and social enterprise), farmers, schools and the corporate sector. Requirements for Potential Tenderers SECAD Partnership CLG wishes to invite tenders from suitably qualified and competent registered auditors, with a high level of knowledge and understanding of the community and voluntary sector, to provide financial auditing services for the next three financial years, 2022 – 2024 inclusive. The annual accounts must be prepared in accordance with Charities SORP. The financial year end is 31st December. The audit file including programme reports and required documents will be made available to the auditors in a timely manner each year. The audit will usually take place in Q1 each year and must be finalised and presented to the Finance and Audit Sub-committee and the Board of Directors before the end of April. A statement to confirm that this timetable will be adhered to should be included as part of this tender submission. The auditors will be required to attend a Finance and Audit Sub-Committee meeting, a Board Meeting to present the audited financial statements, and the AGM.
