Dublin City Council proposes to procure a commercial operator to set up and take down the stalls at the Christmas Market at Henry Street/Mary Street Dublin 1 for the month of December. The contract will be issued for a one month period with the option, at the sole discretion of Dublin City Council, to use the same contractor for the Christmas Market in December 2023. Details are as follows: The successful contractor will be required to begin the set-up of the stalls from 6.30am and begin the dismantling of the stalls from 9pm each day for the entire month of December, It is estimated that there will be approximately 55-60 traders with licenses for the street who operate stalls Monday through Sunday 10am to 9pm. They must be fully considered and incorporated into any final proposal. Tenderers must submit a detailed proposal for the set up and dismantling of the stalls and care and storage of the stalls A DCC Inspector shall be present at Christmas Market set up and dismantling. Stalls – presentation and layout One truck will be used for the storage of the stalls and access to Henry Street The truck containing the stalls will be parked in a secure guarded location which has 24/7 guarding. The successful Contractor must demonstrate familiarity with the Dublin 1 area and access and egress from Henry Street Tenderers must submit a statement that a site specific Risk Assessment will be done as part of the contract award
