Provision of LGBTI+ Youth Leadership Programme

[The preparation, organisation, recruitment and delivery of a LGBTI+ Youth Leadership Programme. Quotes are invited from competent organisations/persons with experience of delivering Youth Leadership Training Programmes and experience of LGBTI+ youth issues, who would be interested in undertaking the following work: • To prepare, organise, recruit to and deliver a LGBTI+ Youth Leadership Programme. The programme will be delivered to a minimum of 30 young people between the ages of 15 and 24 years, consisting of 2 groups of young people: the first aged 15 -17 years and the second aged 18 -24 years. • The Programme will be delivered to LGBTI+ young people, and their young Allies, recruited from Youth Organisations, Sports, Arts and Cultural bodies, schools and colleges nationwide. • The Leadership Programme will be developed and delivered to young people between [September and December 2022] using blended methods of delivery, with in-person delivery the favoured method. This Leadership Programme is in fulfilment of an objective from the LGBTI+ National Youth Strategy 2018-2020: Goal 1 of the LGBTI+ National Youth Strategy 2018-2020 aims to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for LGBTI+ young people. Under this goal: Objective 5 aims to provide a more supportive and inclusive environment that encourages positive LGBTI+ representation and participation in culture, society and sport, and reduces LGBTI+ stigma. Action 5(d) requires the delivery of a leadership programme for young LGBTI+ leaders and potential leaders
