Medite 2022 - EPP 1 - Request for Quotation document for the Drying Modifications tender at Medite Europe DAC

MEDITE Europe DAC is seeking to modify the existing MDF Production Line 1 Fuel Infeed, Energy, Thermal Oil and Drying System. The current Line 1 energy system is composed of two boilers. The boilers supply steam to offices, workshop, Line 1 Dynasteam, Line 1 EvoJet, Line 1 Sifters, Line 1 refiners and four heat exchangers where heat up the fresh air as direct heating medium in both Line 1 Face and Line 1 Core two-stage flash tube dryer. A new energy system will introduce a new thermal oil circuit to supply heat to Line 1 press, heat to new boilers for steam production to offices, workshop, Line 1 Dynasteam, Line 1 EvoJet, Line 1 Sifters, Line 1 refiners and flue gas as a direct heating medium to the Line 1 Face and Line 1 Core two-stage flash tube dryer. This will also require modifications with the ducting, new mixing chambers with fresh air intake and dryer fan upgrades in the existing drying system. In addition, a new wet and dry fuel infeed system will be sourced and installed. The objective of this PQQ is to ensure the qualified vendor to modify the Drying elements of the overall upgrade. The vendor will be developing conceptual design to modify the existing two-stage flash tube dryer with flue gas as heat supply. Ideally, sample P&IDS, layouts or any relevant information will allow Medite to evaluate the capability of the vendor. Medite could also provide information to vendor for reference given that an NDA has been signed between Medite and the vendor. Drying equipment in MDF/wood-based production facility
