You are advised to study the tender documents carefully before preparing your tender to ascertain the full extent and scope of the works. Your tender should be priced in accordance with the instructions set down and all documents should be completed in full as requested. The employer reserves the right to accept the lowest or any tender.

And returned to the offices of:
Niall Smith Architects, on Tuesday 28th June 2022, no later than 4.00pm marked “tender for Summer/ Window works at Convent Junior School, Castleblayney” and shall also be stamped on the rear with the contractor’s name. Faxed /e-mail tenders will not be accepted under any circumstances. It is the intention of the client to appoint the successful contractor as project supervisor for the Construction stage, to carry out the duties as set down in the 2006 safety, health and Welfare at work (construction) regulations. This appointment is subject to confirmation of the successful tenderer’s competence to carry out the duties set down in the Legislation.
Please return fully completed the following documents under separate cover with your tender:-
• completed and signed qw2 suitability assessment questionnaire
• completed volume b form of tender
• fully completed volume c pricing document and detailed price breakdown as prepared by contractor.
Tender price is to include for value added tax at the current rate. Tenderers should contact the contracting authority to arrange inspection/viewing of property. It should be noted that all tender’s are obliged to visit the subject site and inspect the building prior to tender submission. The timeline for completion of works shall be noted as 31st August 2022 at the latest. If works exceed past this deadline the contractor shall undertake works only after school hours i.e. after 4pm or on Saturdays. There shall be no Variation to the contract sum or conditions in this regard.

Upon completion of works, prior to final account payment the contractor shall furnish the contracting authority with 20 year warranty in respect of materials and workmanship with regard to all works completed.
