On behalf of our client you are invited to tender for the Window Replacement Summer Works Scheme at St. Bridgets College, Loughrea as set out in the attached documents which includes Form of Tender and Pricing Schedule, project specification and drawings.

It is the intention of the client that the firm appointed as main contractor for the construction of works shall undertake where required, the duties of Project Supervisor Construction Stage as set out in Articles 16 to 23 of Safety, Health and Welfare (Construction) Regulations 2013. Tenders must include all costs associated with the provision of such duties. A Preliminary Health and Safety Plan is included with the tender documents.

All tenderers must return the signed DoES Suitability Declaration for Small Works and confirm compliance with all DoES conditions and requirements set out in TGD 007 – refer to Department of Education & Skills website. It is a condition of the Department of Education that a C2 Tax Clearance must be in place for grant payment and that you are a member of an approved Construction Industry Pensions Assurance and Sick Pay Scheme.

Tenderers are advised to contact the school to arrange a visit to inspect the nature and extent of the works.

Tenderers are advised that this is fixed price, grant aided project that shall be funded by Dept of Education. Tenders must be submitted on the enclosed Form of Tender and Pricing Schedule.

Your tender should be returned via etenders portal only by Tuesday , 7th June, 2022 at 12 noon.

The Form of Contract will be the Short Public Works Contract for Building and Civil Engineering Works Designed by the Employer Published by the Department of Finance (Most recently published edition).

These works must commence at end of June 2022 and must be substantially complete by 19th August 2022.

Please note that no tenderer will be remunerated for any expense incurred in preparation of this tender. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
