UCDOPP5218 - UCD requests quotes for the supply/delivery of a Metre scale vacuum chamber.

MNMT requires a metre-class vacuum chamber, complete with vacuum generation, controls and safety. The vacuum in the chamber will need to reach 10-5 Pa (or 10-8 torr). The centre requires this piece of equipment for experimental work involving the use of Vacuum UV and X-ray light sources on sensitive high precision surfaces, as well as specimens that require exposure to radiation otherwise absorbed by the atmosphere. MNMT also plans to use the chamber for the integration/retrofitting of properly rated motion stages, optical elements and sensors.
