N.B.: The onus rests with the tendering Contractor to confirm that they have indeed obtained all of the above listed documents, as we cannot accept responsibility for any omission in pricing arising out of being based on incomplete documentation.

To take account of the relevant Drawings and the Specification, etc. you may wish to inspect the site. To arrange this, please contact the Employer’s representative, Ms. Tasha Williams – Secretary of BoM (053 - 918 4573 ).

 

Beyond that, if you have any specific queries about the proposed work, we at Mahon & Fox shall be pleased to address same.

 

Return of Tender Form, Confidentiality

 

Please complete and return the prescribed documentation (as detailed in the accompanying Instructions to Tenderers document);  failure to provide all of the necessary information may render your submission to be invalid;  in so doing, please do not remove any pages from the prescribed documents.

Deadline for Tender Queries:  Thursday 14th April 2022

Deadline for Response to Tender Queries:  Thursday 21st April 2022

Deadline for Submission of Tender: to arrive no later than 4:00p.m. on  Monday 25th April 2022

No tenders received after this time will be entertained.  Please confirm that you have been successfully been able to access all of the listed enquiry documents and that you intend to submit a valid Tender by the due date.

Your tendering for this work implies your agreement to submit a wholly bona fide tender, and not to divulge your tender price to any person, or body before the deadline for submission of tenders.

You will note that the Client is not necessarily bound to accept the lowest, or any tender as other factors are also to be taken into consideration. No Tenderer will be remunerated for any trouble or expense incurred in the pricing of these works.

The Start & Finish Dates have yet to be agreed, but one can assume a fairly prompt start following tender award. Accordingly, we would be obliged if you could confirm your availability to start as soon as possible; we would further be obliged if you could additionally indicate your anticipated duration (in weeks) for completion in order to facilitate the client and all those affected by the works. Note the school holidays can be confirmed with the School Secretary, Ms. Tasha Williams.

 

Health and Safety

Where applicable, the Client proposes to appoint the successful tenderer as Project Supervisor (Construction Stage) for this project by way of agreement collateral to the Building Contract. 

 

Tenderer to check all matters

Please examine the site and the information supplied regarding the nature and extent of the proposed works, to be satisfied as to what is required to be done to fulfill the duties of Project Supervisor (Construction Stage) and to establish what measures you will need to take in respect of the safe execution of the works. You should include all costs in respect of Safety and Health in your tender figure. The client will not be liable for any such costs where these are reasonably foreseeable and which are not so included. Note that where you or any sub-contractor (including Nominated Sub-contractors) undertakes design work, the duties in Article 5 of the Safety and Health (Construction) Regulations apply.
