DCCRW - Dursey Cable Car Refurbishment Works

Refurbishment of Dursey Cable Car (span between line structures 244m) including: Supply and like for like replacement of 2 no. 24m high line structures/towers Supply and like for like replacement of Island anchor frame Repairs to foundations Removal and reinstallation of 2 no. wire track ropes (24mm Ø 374m long) Removal and reinstallation of 1 no. haul ropes (16mm Ø approx. 780m long) Removal and reinstallation of 1 no. signal cable support rope (10mm Ø approx. 420m long) Disconnection, removal, reinstallation and recommission of 1 no. 24V signal cable (attached to cable support rope) (approx. 400m) As permitted by Article 26(4) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Cork County Council is employing the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation due to the location and nature of the works. In addition, in accordance with Article 28(6)(a) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Cork County Council is availing of shortened timescales in connection with this competition due to the urgency of the works required
