Bord Iascaigh Mhara 2022-006 - Request for Tender to Fabricate a New Container, fit to an existing Fire Training Unit and all other associated requirements to existing containers in Greencastle

The fire training unit located at the National Fisheries College of Ireland (NFCI) in Greencastle, Co. Donegal, is used to provide the practical training section of the ‘Standards in Training Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting’ and the ‘STCW Advanced Fire Fighting’ courses delivered by BIM in accordance with Section A-VI/3 of the STCW code. The purpose of this tender is the refit / redevelopment of (NFCI) Greencastle Fire Fighting Unit. This includes (but not limited to) the following elements: 1. Fabricate a new container on existing Fire Training unit (as per specification in section 5 below). 2. Disassemble three of the four containers (including railings where required). 3. Repair, prime and paint any damaged spots on two of the containers. 4. Fit the lower container (already on site to the ground floor of unit). 5. Fit the top two containers (the new container as per one above and an existing container and reinstate all railings and attachments as per requirements and specifications. 6. Remove waste from site and recycle where possible.
