2021 development project - To decommission the existing communication tower and the construction of a proposed 48m communication tower along with ancillary works on adjacent site in Connolly Barracks, Longford.

Longford County Council intends to erect a proposed communication tower in the grounds of the Old Connolly Barracks. Drawing and Specifications for the proposed structure of the tower are attached. The contract will include the removal of an existing tower in the Barracks site and the constructed of a 48m communication tower along with all ancillary works such as the provision of ducting and fencing for the proposed structure.
