Re:       Invitation to Tender for Construction Works (Open Procedure)

For:      Demolition of existing Prefab extension, proposed Conversion of Existing Store to new metal Workshop with internal alterations, the construction of a new Store extension adjoining existing building, new ramped & step access, the provision of new concrete and tarmac surface finishes and replacement of existing roller shutter door with new personnel door and roller shutter door to existing Fuel Store, together with all associated siteworks at Banagher FETC, Banagher, Co. Offaly for LOETB

The Employer invites you to tender for construction works for the above, as detailed below.

Form of Contract:

The Form of Contract will be:

PW—CF6 Public Works Short Form of Contract

Tender Returns:

The latest time and date for return of Tenders is:             17:00hrs, 27th October 2021

Contractors must return a fully priced Volume C – Works Schedule as well as Volume B – Form of Tender and Schedule and the completed and signed Suitability Declaration for Small Works. By signing this declaration, Tenderers are stating that they meet the minimum Standards for Participation and the Conditions for Award and confirming that (if they are the apparently successful tenderer) they will produce (within 7 calendar days) evidence of compliance with all section of the declaration.

Tenders are to be submitted via eTenders portal online no later than 27.10.2021 at 5PM.

Tenders received after that time will be held not to be bona fide tenders.

Expected start date is approx. Monday 8th November 2021 on site, with completion by year end 2021.

Queries

Queries must be submitted via the eTender messages facility

All queries must be submitted as soon as possible and in any event not later than 8 working days before latest time for receipt of Tender although the Employer may at its discretion respond to queries raised after that date.  If the Employer responds to a query, it will send the response to each Tenderer, unless the Tenderer asking the query has clearly designated the query as confidential and the Employer agrees that it should be treated as confidential.
