SBBL1 - Seeking to purchase 100 bicycles

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing on behalf of Sportzee Battery Bikes Limited, an e-bicycle share scheme company. I would like to invite you to submit a quote for 100 bicycles.

The bicycles selected will be used in a share scheme, therefore durability and the structural integrity of the frame, fork, handlebar and associated components are the priority. The bikes will be upgraded with electric components to provide a peddle assist functionality. The front wheel hub and the spindle in the bottom bracket will be replaced with an e-motor and a sensor respectively. A battery, controller and IoT device will also be added.

This project is in competition for public funding and therefore subject the relevant process and procedure, as a result it is hoped that quotations will remain valid for 6 months (or nearest duration). A scoring system will determine which tender wins the contract. The quotation will be scored on price, meeting specification, after sale service, warranty, defect cover, delivery time.
