Maintenance contract for Navigation Markers System, Lough Corrib, Co. Galway

Lough Corrib Navigation Trust (c/o Galway City Council) are seeking the services of a Marine Contractor to undertake an annual inspections and maintenance contract of approximately 259 number Aid to Navigation markers located on Lough Corrib. The works will involve maintenance work to; • Annual detailed inspection and reporting of all markers. Repair markers • Clean markers • Inspection and report of entire mooring assembly on a select number of markers (as detailed within the pricing document) • Replace missing markers • Survey of Marker positions • Retrieval of out of place/drifted markers • Inspection and replacement of marker chains and anchor blocks • Other maintenance work required and identified in the pricing schedule. This will include a routine safety inspection and reporting undertaken quarterly or after significant storm events.
