Consultancy to act as a Business Case Advisor to the Property Management Unit (PMU)

The Department of Foreign Affairs request a quotation for the provision of an expert strategic business case advisor to help develop business case appraisals for upcoming large capital expenditure projects being undertaken by the Department. The business case appraisals should comply with the requirements of the most recent iteration of the Public Spending Code (issued in December 2019). The business cases must examine the project’s policy and strategic context, needs to be met, specific objectives, constraints, and options, before appraising the options and identifying the preferred options. Preparation of the business cases should involve close consultation with the Department’s Property Management Unit (PMU) as well as close engagement with wider project stakeholders and advisors.
