21/003 - 21/003 - Request for Expressions of Interest and Information (RFI) – The Provision of an Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Unit(s) to Gas Networks Ireland

As part of the Growth and Innovation Fund, GNI are committed to developing and delivering innovative solutions to the Transport market across Ireland. In response to this initiative and to facilitate the growth of alternative transportation infrastructure, we are proposing the provision of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Filling Stations. Gas Networks Ireland wishes to investigate the market capabilities of the supply of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Units to inform an upcoming future tendering requirement. In this regard, Gas Networks Ireland is seeking responses to this Request for Expressions of Interest and Information. Stage 1 seeks informative responses from competent parties who wish to participate in the supply of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Units. Please see the RFI document for further information on the parties who may respond to the RFI. Stage 2 will involve a market engagement day with individual sessions, remotely, with suppliers who have returned a submission. Stage 3 involves the launch of the tender Lot 1: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Units Includes design, manufacture, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, training for end user and certification in accordance with the applicable European Directives.
