Dear Sir/Madam,
Re: Proposed Carparking Area At Ballymore GAA Club, Ballybrien, Granard, Co. Longford For Ballymore GAA.
Tenders are sought from suitably qualified contractors for the above works. The works shall comprise the following elements:
Development comprises of the provision of new carparking area with SMA finish to service existing GAA club grounds. The scope of works comprise of supply and laying new carpark including all levelling of hardcore materials, laying of a tarmac surface, lighting, drainage works, landscaping works as otherwise described in the tender documents.
Tenderers shall allow in their tender for all works as described in the relevant Drawings, specification and other contract documents, including General Layout Drawings, Specification. The Tender shall include for the entire cost of the works including all temporary works, access, provision of all plant and materials, permits etc. All costs connected with gaining entry to the site, increased costs and all taxes must be included in the Tender. All documentation must be carefully examined before submitting a Tender and the Contractor is advised to visit the site of the works prior to submitting his tender.
Include for making good to all areas on completion and leaving all areas completely clean and tidy
The Tenderer must include for full insurance cover including Employers Liability (Unlimited), Public Liability and All Risks Insurance and otherwise as described in the particulars and tender documents. Tenders must submit fully itemised details and costs of the works as per Tender Breakdown. The tenders must be strictly in accordance with Short Public Works Contract. Suitability of contractor with all tax and insurance to be confirmed when required with declaration signed and submitted with tender.
The successful tender shall comply with all necessary Safety Health and welfare at work requirements and regulations including acting as the PSCS for the project.
The tenderer shall note all particulars and tender documents including relevant questionnaires for duties as PSCS and ability to demonstrate and confirm competency in this regard in accordance with the contract documents.
Tenders shall note and complete the form of tender and note the contract form shall be the Short Public works contract.
It should be noted that the lowest tender or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Tenders will not be re-numerated for any cost or expenses involved in the preparation of the tender.
The tenders must be clearly marked “Ballymore GAA Carpark Works” and returned to
Gregory Walker, Chairman Ballymore GAA Club, Lisraghtigan, Coolarty, Co. Longford.
no later than 4pm on Friday 7th May 2021.
It should be noted that tenders received after the appointed time will not be considered and will be returned. The time limit will be strictly enforced.
